  • Tools Needed: Phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, wire cutters, needle-nose pliers.

  • Safety First: Unplug the range and shut off the gas supply before installation to avoid electrical shock or gas leaks.

  • Steps: Access the oven burner by removing the oven bottom panel (unscrew or lift out). Disconnect the old igniter’s wires, remove the mounting screw or bracket, and carefully extract the igniter (fragile dark grey coil; avoid dropping). Cut the old igniter’s connector if needed, strip wires, and connect the new GR403 igniter using the included ceramic wire nuts. Secure the igniter with the provided mounting bracket and screw. Reassemble and test the oven. Installation takes 15–20 minutes. Note: If the igniter glows but doesn’t ignite, ensure proper alignment with burner holes and check wire connections.
