Sprint Collage Complete Quilt Fabric Kit and Applique Pattern Including Backing from Arlene Walsh Designs, Southwest Fabric Kit

This Arlene Walsh southwest applique quilt pattern and complete fabric kit features a roadrunner in full sprint mode. The technique is called collage. In collage we find interesting fabrics, like kaffe florals, and fussy cut shapes and images from the fabric. then, just fill in the body using these shapes until you have your image dressed. Fabrics can be glue basted in place with water soluble glue or fused with paper backed fusible (we suggest Steam A Seam II). The benefits of collage are a clearer understanding of values and color, as well as practice using different prints together. The quilt is then machine stitched giving you another opportunity to embellish with your thread choices. You choose your images and shapes, no two Roadrunners will be alike.
